    jeweled lacerta

I really wanted a tegu but found a perfectly good used tank that I could keep a jeweled lacerta in. Does any one have one? just wondering about the temperments and ease of care.
    Too many pets to list!

Hello, what a great choice of lizard! Mine has a great temperment ,beardy tame although when he is hungry im a tad carefull changing his water bowl! They like digging and basking so give them a generous layer of coco fibre/sand and a 10uvb. Keep the temp range between 35c down to 20c in the cool end and room temp at night.

We have (4) Tegu's and a Jeweled Lacerta. The Lacerta is rather wild, probably wasn't handled at all before we got it. The Tegu's are great!! I much prefer them.
