    Breeing Questions?

I have a few questions about breeding, as I plan to get into it a little bit so I can keep some of the harder to find snakes in the US more popular a bit, and also get some CB ones around. So here are a few questions I have. Also I know every snakes are different but, i'm just looking for a general idea.

1.) How long does it usually take snakes to lay eggs?

2.) How long does the eggs usually incubate before hatching?

3.) What is a good incubator, that isnt going to kill my pocket?

    Re: Breeing Questions?

    1) Usually 27 days after their post ovulation shed.
    2) Eggs usually hatch 52 - 60 days after they are laid.
    3) Build your own. An old freezer makes an excellent platform for such a project.

    Re: Breeing Questions?

We did build our own out of an old fridge (I think freezer would be better though) and it wasn't too difficult. Before then we bought a small incubator from Natures Spirit. It does the job well for up to 9 or so egg boxes.

You can find them here: http://www.nsreptiles.com/incubator.html
