    i love balls but...

Have you ever seen a kingsnake eat? I have owned many species of snakes, but I would have to say that kingsnakes are definately the best when it comes to a dinner show..

This picture does no justice. I need a video next week. They literally play with their prey before killing it....

Such a gorgeous snake... check out the red eye patches....

Agreed kings and milks are garbage disposal they will eat anything you offer (rat, mice, Asf, live , F/T) they don't care.

nice king!! i love the eye spots!
ill have to agree with the play with food thing. my albino female will swing the mouse around for a little bit then glup it down. she has learned that constriction is no longer needed so she has fun with it.

the garbage disposal comment.....well not all of them. i have a male that refuses food often. he'll eat one week and not the next. sometimes takes f/t from tongs, sometimes he has to be put in a cup, and then there are the times when he will only take live.

i would love to see the video of this guy!!

The best thing about Kings is that they are so intent and focused on the prey item that you can hand-feed them, without them even flinching

    0.1 Albino Cali King, Gertrude
    0.1 Mexican Black King, Gladys
    0.0.1 Bairds Rat Snake
    1.1 Lavender corns
1.0 Huachuca Mountain King (L.p. Woodini)
The wee man, Oscar, Border Collie

That is awesome, that you can hand feed them, I will have to try that with my Anaconda. I'm sure she will be fine with it, as I sometimes have to help her find the head of the mouse when she trys to swallow it legs first.
