OK to start of with I hang mostly in th bp forums. but I do own other snakes.
I have 4 young corns ( 2 rescues) and 2 I purchased in 07. these guys are all about the same size Thick as a sharpie give or take and about 2-3 ft long.
So forth to the event, I had to take pictures cause in Delaware you not allowed to own corn snakes.( they consider endangered.) but this is worked around by proving they were purchased outside the state and are visible morphs. So I was using the digital camera to get the pictures to send in with the paper work,. since my printer was down I sent them on a CD. Well to get the picture I too kal the snake and place in one tub and went to a window were the Sun shown in. I got my pictures and went to place the snake back in their own private tubs. well when I got to the last 2 one snow and the normal female. (both are the rescues) they going at it . i am so shocked to me this is like caughting a pair of 9the graders fooling around. well . Skip to Friday I had move the room around and set the tubs back in the rack . and while working on the higher tub I guessing I bumped the latch and pop it off. I go to clean the tubs the next day. Snake gone. I took the entire room apart again and go looking for her, nothing. I never looked in the broken humidifier I was so psot to toss out in my mad rush I forgot to. THANK GOD. I walk into the room this morning and see her sticking her head out of the humidifier top .I almost freaked. I go to lift it up to take her out and find she wedge herself in there and is laying eggs. SO i end up cutting the thing apart with the dremel and remover her and the eggs she laid so far. I now am going to be hatching corn eggs instead of the possible bp eggs. ( cause the one bp was not gravid like I though. and her a pic of the eggs and the corn ( still got 2 to go ) from a shaky man right after I pulled her out of the humidifier . this was the best out of the 3 I got to take on weak/dead batteries.
