BP Not Eating...Try A Paper Bag?

I thought I would post something I just learned to the forum. My young male normal BP has not been eating well since September. Tony, the owner over at Fish Bowl Pets here in Stamford, CT (www.fishbowlpets.us) recommended that I first check my temps then try putting the thawed mouse in a paperbag (with holes for air) along with my BP (Alex). The next morning...Voila! Mouse gone, Alex happy!

Disclaimer: I am not related to/ nor affiliated with the owner of Fish Bowl Pets, but I have been a patron numerous times over the years.

That's great. Alex won't touch live. He is chicken or lazy. Not sure.

As a followup to my first post, make sure the paperbag is closed with either a clip or staples so it doesn't come open, so as to keep the mouse scent in.

I have used the bag method, and it works great. Also used small boxes as well.

Doesn't have to be a paper bag, it can be something smaller then the enclosure you keep him in, and you want it to be dark, you don't have to put wholes in the paper bag btw, just fold it over.
