Humidity Help

I cant seem to keep the humidity in my BP tank above 40% I have a light over his water bowl and try to mist the side of the glass tank. I have digital temp and humidity reader in the tank. Are there any suggestions out there to keep the humidity above 40%. I have read that the proper humidty for a BP is around 60%

The two best ways IMO to fix humidity FAST are: cover about 75 % of the tank with foil or something similar OR place a CLEAN damp towel over half the tank leaving space for the lamp and ventilation. Make sure you change the towel every day or two to prevent bacteria. The average humidity in my apartment during the winter is 15%, and I find the only sure way to keep the humidity up is the towel.

Other options that require a little tweaking are damp sphagnum moss placed in a container; a water dish with a wide surface area placed over the UTH or under the lamp; and sometimes a humidifier in a small room can really help.
