When should I switch cage sizes?

I have my BP in a 10 gallon terrarium currently. He is getting BIG, i'd say hes about 2 feet, maybe a little bigger? He's starting to even have trouble fitting into his hides, so I think it is about time I change that up too. What is a good size to switch him to his lifelong 20L terrarium?

How much does your BP weigh, and how big are your current hides?

he weighs 277 g. His one hide he is okay in, and the other one he fits in, but I don't see that lasting very long. One is a medium sized exoterra cave, the other is a half cocunut, which he loves but I just don't see it working much longer

I would suggest you get another Med Exo Terra, and wait a little while before you move him to a 20 gal. Wait till he gets closer to 385 grams and is eating consistantly before you try to move him over.

Re: When should I switch cage sizes?

thanks slim, he eats extremely well though. His feeding response is incredible, never had a problem with him. He eats every 5 days, f/t, prekilled, live it doesn't matter he will eat it. When I weighed him at 277 that was right after he ate, so I'd say he was probably closer to 245ish or so. Thanks for the advice.
