    Confused

I started a new thread instead of continuing on the axanthic killer bee because im confused about just the killer bee. Ok a bummble bee is a pastel x spider. everything i read say killer bee is a super pastel spider. So i just assumed it means a super pastel x spider but im wrong. And i am really confused. So if someone could explain how to get a killer bee i would appreciate it

    Re: Confused

Well super pastel x spider would work but most people just do pastel x bumblebee since that would have 2 pastel genes going on and will make the super.

    Re: Confused

Killerbee is the result of Bumblebee X Pastel

Super Pastel X Spider will not produce Killerbees but Bumblebees.

You sure? Because that would still have 2 pastel genes together.

    No it wouldn't.

Only one half of the gene comes from each parent - so while a super pastel cannot pass on anything apart from a pastel gene it still can't pass on two copies of it.

Hence you get all pastels but no superpastels from breeding a superpastel to a normal.
