    Is this substrate safe?

I bought it for my Kenyan sand boa. Just because of how cool it looks and its in small pieces so it's easy for him to burrow. It says all natural on it.

    Re: Is this substrate safe?

    Hi,

Does it say anywhere what soft woods it is made of?

And is that "kiln dried" in one of the pics?

    What does it smell like?

Do they give any details about the "odour control" I see mentioned?

I can't read the text in the last photo at all - though that might be my old eyes.

Don't get complacent about "all natural" as a phrase either by the way walnut shells are all natural as are gravel, belladona and arsenic.
