If it did not come with papers for genetics consider yourself JACKED .You traded a xbox for a $20 snake .Are you even sure its a female?

Yes you could however for that price you could have had 4 nice normal females not 1.

I guess now all you can do is wait and see.

    Huh?

Like the others I hope you got what you think you got. Did you actually get genetic paperwork with the snake and have you confirmed with the breeder that this is in fact the 100% het for pied female as sold to this guy?

Did the guy have any other BP's or seem to know anything about breeding? Would seem odd that he would only have one BP, and it would happen to be het for Pied. Sometimes you just have to read people and make sure they're walking like a duck.

    Re: craigslist find

I hate to join the Doomsday chorus... but...

I answered a CL ad regarding a het caramel female and a het albino female.

I questioned him pretty harshly about it, and he did fill me in...

He got the het caramel from a guy that invented the spider ball python. After a few more emails pushing for the name of this breeder I was informed that they had come together, but I had misunderstood... the het caramel (he claimed) was from BHB. He had this one snake imported into CAN when it was 80g.

80g is the weight of a newborn BP, and the CITES paperwork takes a bit longer than two weeks... and no, not saying this snake came from BHB as I know it did not.

He could not remember the name of the guy that invented the Spider Python, but he did think it may also be het for pastel...

Longer story less short... a few months later I sold a snake to someone that informed he had just bought a het caramel off of CL... I did not have the heart to break it to him.

But he assured me this was a het caramel, but he had misplaced the paperwork...

I'm confused.. did you falsely sell the snake as het. caramel?
