    Feeding???

New to this game... Should you feed in the same tank as they live I've been told both yes and no. I understand the precaution to it. Also how do you thaw and heat your frozen rodents I did it and it still seemed cold, trial run before the actual feeding???? Thanks

Just leave them to hunt in their own tanks.

I soak the frozen rodent in a ziploc in warm water then hit it with a blast of hot water right before I feed it. Seams to work for me but you need to experiment to find out what will work for you.

    Re: Feeding???

I've never had a problem feeding them in the same tank. I do keep the sub 700 gram animals on newspaper because the aspen I'm using seems to get caught in their mouths if they miss the mouse/rat etc.
