Someone's offering me a piedbald for $300... could it be a scam?

He claims the $300 just mostly for shipping--He's practicly in the state next to me and claims that he has a more demanding job and he wants to find a loving home... He's making it sound like he's going to go first.. What should I ask him/think? I just asked him for some pictures...

I found him on a "piebald ball python for sale" google search...

More than likely a scam. Ask for three pictures of it on a piece of paper that has today's date on it.

BTW shipping doesn't run for more than $75 at the most normally, so thats a red flag right there.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

Also offer to do a pickup transaction...do not send him any money. It is almost quarenteed to be a scam.

I'm with Matt. That $300 for mostly just shipping sends red flags jumping up all over the place. Not to mention that if something seems just too good to be true, it likely is.

Okay! told him that! good plan. I was really exited but he kept dropping his price and it was really beggining to look like a scam...

you should pass on the info to some other members here , and see if he's telling everyone a different story.

You'd risk losing it by someone else buying it , but from what it sounds like you won't be losing anything because he sounds like a pure scammer to me too.

okay. He's been responding within a day, so... I'll wait. If he chickened out of it and stopped replying, I'll make a thread.

If it looks to good to be true it is!

Why would someone sell a pied for less than $1,000 of what its worth?
