How would you produce bright yellow pastels?
Here's what i'm thinking.
Say you have a very bright yellow Lemon Pastel with the hopes of making more bright yellow baby pastels.
Would you pair that pastel to:
A) a "light" colored normal
or
B) a decent looking Pastel (I realize this would also yeild super pastels, but for this question i'm really only focusing on making bright yellow baby pastels)
or
C) another nice Lemon Pastel
Hope the question makes sense.
That thread about the morph prices and people talking about Pastels being sold on a price scale (less $ for lower quality pastels and more for the nice ones) got me thinking about it.
Thanks in advance,
Tony

Re: How would you produce bright yellow pastels?
I would say heavy line breeding of very select pastel x pastel pairings.I'm not a breeder so this is just a guess. I think I remember hearing NERD lemon pastels were line bred for yellow, Graziani line bred for blushing and flames I do believe.

Follow Robin's lead and use light normals with a lot of blushing to selectively breed for bright pastels.

I wouldn't line breed. Selective breeding is the shizizzle.
