Name Inspiration
For those who name their pets, as do I, how do you gain inspiration for the names of your pets? I am going to acquire a male RTB within a month and have to come up with a name...and there is my issue.

Re: Name Inspiration
for me it depends on the animal. My first bp is my reduced pattern normal male. I named him Goliath, because compared to my corn snake who is not small, he was huge. My het pied pair are named from characters in the movie ladyhawke and because they are meant to be together (so I can get my pied lol ). My lemon pastel male, I had him for about three weeks before I named him... the name will come to you. if you have pics of him sometimes it helps in the naming process.

Re: Name Inspiration
I typically look for markings or personality. I sometimes use characters from different stuff or the name the animal came with.

Re: Name Inspiration
Found a name, Quetzalcoatl, after the Mayan god. He was a winged serpant. I wanted to try something fairly local to his area and figured that would be perfect. We are gonna call hi Quetz for short.

Re: Name Inspiration
I named Pandora after the Pandora's Box myth and the fact that once she released all the evils of the world, there was hope left in the box.
Prometheus was named after Pandora's lover, also based on a Greek myth that he was sentenced to have his liver picked at by a bird for the rest of eternity.
I originally named my dog Enzo (after the car) thinking that she was a boy. When I found out she was a girl, I had a hard time thinking of a name. I pulled out my key chain, which is made by a surfing company called Roxy, and decided to name her that.
Unfortunately, I didn't name my cat but I plan on naming my next two balls Osiris and Isis
