    Lesser question

so.. after doing a bit of searching and researching.. I am thinking of getting a female lesser. I saw a few ads on Kingsnake that have me wondering what to do... so now my question is:

What exactly do I look for in a lesser? is there anything specific to look for? are there low grade lessers like in pastels?

I know that basically it comes down to personal preference, but I need a starting point to help me choose. Thanx everyone.

    Re: Lesser question

Well, since I am a reduced pattern nut, I would want one that is completely reduced pattern, light colored and tons of blushing. I can't say that I've ever seen an ugly lesser, like you do with pastels. But I have seen examples of lessers that make me go WOW!

    Re: Lesser question

thanx Robin. yeah I'm a reduced pattern girl myself (and this cannot be used in the out of context thread so there!!), but I was just curious as to what to really really look for. Just keep my eyes open and learn as I decide. thanx again.

The more contrast, the better IMO

    Re: Lesser question

I like the really high white and blushing coming up the side from the belly.
Basically, when it looks closer to a Platinum the better for me.

    Re: Lesser question

thanx for the opinions... all things I can look for while I find "that" one. wonder if I could find one that is reduced pattern with high contrast, lots of blushing and flames.. think thats asking too much. one can dream and hope I guess. the search goes on.

    Re: Lesser question

Look for something with alot of color. To me nothing is worse than a ugly brown/grey adult lesser. Contact Kat, http://www.centralvalleypythons.com/index.html

To see if she has any hatching soon.

Heres my now adult lesser from her

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

    Re: Lesser question

Look for one that was produced by Adam at 8 Ball Pythons. He told me he's going to have quite a few Lesser clutchs this season, and his Lessers are some of the best in the hobby.
