    new snake recommendation

Hi everyone. I am thinking about getting a new snake for my birthday, which is in August so I have a good time to think and prepare. I currently have 1 BP and love him. I can't get anything BIG ya know just something like BP size. I was thinking about a corn snake, what are some other favorites around here and recommendations?

For "smaller" snakes, my favs are corns, western hognoses, and of course ball pythons.

My favs are some of the bigger/heftier snakes though, but I understand the size issue. I'm not able to house larger snakes right now, so no big boas/bloods/carpet pythons.

You also might like a smaller boa; for example, a hog island boa.

I think that it'd be worth it for you to look into a King Snake. I have a California King and he's absolutely amazing! Very fun snakes.

I'll second the vote for a hognose. There is a LOT of personality packed into those little guys, plus they're just so darned cute.

    Get a boa constrictor.
    a male.They won't get that big.

And if they do, they will take a long time to reach that adult size. You'd probably have tons of snakes by then including Burms

At least that's what happened to me.
