    Carpet ID please

I got this big beautiful girl this weekend. I've been trying to figure out if she's a jungle, coastal or a cross. What do you guys think? She's about 6 + feet long. Beautiful markings, I would guess that she's a coastal but I haven't seen any pics that look quite like her.

the body looks very coastal, but the head looks very jungle. i've never seen a coastal with that much of a 'snub nose' look or such dark labial markings.

    I third.

There really is no way of knowing for sure when you buy a carpet from any Joe Blow jobber or wholesaler at a show. If you really want a pure coastal or jungle, buy from a reputable breeder that actually bred the snake and can give info on the parents or grandparents.

    Re: Carpet ID please

Thanks guys. I think she's a coastal x jungle too after looking at some pics of younger snakes. I don't really care what she is, I think she's beautiful. I hope to get a pic with her soon so you can see how big she is. She's calmed down quite a bit. I've been taking her out for about 5 mins every day.

yeah, definitely nothing wrong with being a cross... jungles and coastals are the same species and poorly differentiated anyway. good luck with her!

I think it still could be in the realm of variance of a jungle.
