    Re: Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is used to heal/disinfect skin infections and acne in humans. The pH balance of our skin and ball pythons is much different, not to mention the acidity levels in it could potentially harm the snake, I would NOT recommend using it regardless of whether or not you think the fumes are strong. Just because one person's used it doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Plenty of topical antibiotics out there. Why mess around with Tea Tree Oil?

    Re: Tea Tree Oil

DO NOT USE IT AT ALL!!!!!! Back around twelve years ago we had a cat with a bad skin allergy. Vet told us to use that until we could bring him in.....that animal was t total drunk all weekend and found out later that he could have died from it. There would be no way I would ever use it on an animal again.
