ok all you rattie experts, whatcha think?
Close to a year ago, when I started breeding rats agian I had the cutest super light grey hooded female. At that time, I was only using one cage. Big Mama started to fight with the light grey girl so badly that I was afraid she was going to be killed. So I gave her (grey hooded girl) away to my friend.
Low and behold, she was already pregnant. She threw beiges, agoutis and maybe blacks, Im not sure, I forgot and I can't call her right now to ask.
I now have 2 of her daughters, they are agouti hoodeds. They will be in QT for 2/3 weeks but after that, what male should I breed to them? I'd really love to produce some super light grey ratties. (not sure if shes a sky blue or blue agouti- its been some time since I've seen her)
I have a siamese dumbo male and a russian blue dumbo male. they always throw blues, creams, beiges, fawns, siamese and sometimes blacks, the siamese throws hoodeds and the blue never throws hoodeds. (somehow I've never produced albinos or agoutis- I hope I dont regret adding agoutis to my breeding stock, I don't care for that color at all lol)
Im sure I will breed both males to them eventually but I'd really like to have a heads up with what could pop up.
So what male gets lucky first? lol

Thats really a big mix of colors, I'm not really sure what you are asking. If you want more blues, it seems like either male will throw blues.
If you want to try for specific colors, keep a note book of what pairing's you do, and what babies come out of it. That way you will begin to understand what genes the parents keep, and you can plan your breedings if that is something you want to do.
Otherwise, I can't see how we could be much help.
