    Making sure behavior is normal

I just got my first BP last night. During the night she did plenty of exploring I woke up many times to make sure she was not trying to find a way out of her new home. She has spent all of today in one of her hides. I just want to verify this is normal behavior for a transition??? I want to make sure I'm doing everything right for her and she is a stress-free as I can make her.

She's about three years old, My hot side is 92, cool side 84, ambient air 85.6, humidity 50%. She is in a little bit bigger tank but I have a bunch of foliage and three hides with some tree limbs and such. (as well as a water dish of course)

So with that information if anyone can let me know if she's behaving normally I would greatly appreciate it!!

Yes, it is normal for them to roam and explore until they feel secure in their new surroundings. After settling in they will come out for a stroll at night but spend the days in their hides.

During acclimation you do not want to see her... a hiding BP is a good thing.

Congrats on the new snake. Leave her be for a few feeds and she should do just fine.

PS: You can drop your ambient temps a few degrees... just a suggestion.

Sounds great. Now look forward to now seeing her for at least a week for acclimation and you are perfect for feeding time.

A hiding BP is a happy BP! I don't get too worried until they start crusing the cage for no aparent reason.
