Taping down Flexwatt, and placement of probe in rack.

so my flexwatt will be here on Friday and i had a question about holding it down. should i cover all of it with aluminum tape to protect it from the tub? or just the corner. Also where do i place the probe on my t stat, right on the flexwatt under the tub? under the aluminum tape or over it? pics would be nice, but any help would be appreciated. thanks

    Tape the edges.

As for the probe place it on the middle shelf, taped directly to the heat source using foil tape (under a tub might be a problem when opening and closing the said tub)

So your thermostat probe is actually taped to the flexwatt? Not taped to the bottom of the tub and then the flexwatt taped over that? Or does it really matter?

Exactly what I was going to say.

I got my rack from RBI and the way Rich runs it is you can tape the probe off to the side where it will be out of the way. Also the flex watt is in a laminate so you don't need to worry about protecting it just be sure it stays down or it could tear things up.

There should be some room off to the side of the tub
