    Repticon Charlotte, NC show report....

Alright to start things off this was Charlotte's first Repticon show and for a first show it wasn't bad. I only attended Saturday, it's a two day show, a it was fairly packed throughout the whole day. Very clean building, good temperature not too cold or hot and the Concessions were good also. There was however spacing issues. I don't know if they rented out the whole building or not but when you first walked in you had space enough to have another isle with vendors but was used for ticket sales and pickup. To each side of the vendor area there was curtains blocking off more space, this could have been opened up for more isle room and vendors. Other than space issues this show would be a good one to go to if you're within a few hours. Give it a few years and the Repticon Charlotte show will be a much needed show to attend for the mid east coast area. Great job Repticon!!!

I agree with SnakeDoc. The show was great and has a lot of potential for future growth. The spacing between the vendor's tables was the only real problem I saw. Had those dang curtins been moved out of the way, there would have been plenty of room. This expo was a little "lizzard heavy", but then again, I'm a BP guy, so I'm biased!

I hope the show comes back next year and is bigger and better.

On a side note, I saw a LOT of sales being made, and even did some buying myself. I hope that's a good sign that the current economic times haven't hit the Herp trade too badly.

Well I can tell you that the only reason there was the blue pipe and drape is Repticon originally had another building but the venue its self moved it over to the one it was in so there was no confusing with the cat show and they curtained off the same square footage.

I was certain that there was a reason, I'm sure there will be wider isles next time. Looking forward to possibly having a booth there next time. I did purchase a yellow belly female from Chris @ BA Reptiles. She's one of the best representations of a Yellow belly so I HAD to buy her!
