FWC Meeting : IMPORTANT!! Pls Read!
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Division of Law Enforcement, will be holding two public meetings to discuss and receive comments on proposed changes to captive wildlife regulations.
February 24, 2009; 6:30 p.m. ; Gainesville, Fl
February 25, 2009; 7:00 p.m. ; Kissimmee, Fl
More information, including proposed changes are found at
http://myfwc.com/calendar.htm
OR:
(850)488-6253
My comments:
From the fast read I gave all the links found at the link, it appears that reptiles might NOT be regulated in this proposal(or not further regulated from the already regulated status they have), but it is pretty extensive, and a good showing of the herp community can make them aware of how many of us are HERE, and are responsible members of society, who are concerned and AWARE of their actions. I will be doing my utmost to be at the Gainesville meeting, although I doubt I'll be able to make it to the Kissimmee one.
When I find the locations of the meetings, I'll post them here(unless someone beats me to it!).
Thank you for the read!
