Use paper towels and a jar to make something similar to this...
Using this in addition to foil and duct tape on 3/4 of the top of the cage will raise the humidity to your specifications.

Make sure you wash it out, about every week or so.

You really don't need that much water in it, probably like a 1/4 cup of water for a few days and you'll be set.

Yeah, you shouldn't need an in-tank humidifier for a BP..

some older homes which have hydroponic heating might need this. in my house the humidity has been as low as 15% which isnt good for you or your lungs.
as for the humidifier just get a cheap pond pump from harbor freight and put it in a small fishtank and your just masically making a foutain in the tank

Often times the Humidity in Death Valley is down to 10% or less for lonnnnng periods....summer heat is 130 degrees. I am Going to have to build a reptile dedicated room to maintain proper temps......oh BTW it snowed in the mountains here today....go figure. I pretty much mist as much as possible because i dont like WET bacteria growing material to stay in my cages.....just my Opinion.
