    Bump!

Thinking of buying a rack for my soon to grow Bp collection, and was considering this rack with the dual side radiant heating option. My room can get fairly cold (can try be concious of room temps but we have a floor vent gas heating in between bedrooms that doesn't circulate as well as it could into the bedroom where I will keep my snakes... and I don't feel chilly till below 60 myself) in the winter and this will be my first winter with a bp.

How well does the radiant side heat work in cold temps? saw the one review and seemed decent.. any other input? If it gets too cold how would I go about insulating it a bit more without suffocating the snakes?

does the side heating work just like belly heat where you put the probe right on the tape?

    Thanks alot

I have a AP dual heat cb70 rack and love it, all my future racks will be dual heat.
Can't help you out on the cold room though, I keep my ambient at 83. If the rack is going into a dedicated room for balls I would invest in a space heater. 60 degree ambient is not a temp I would ever consider keeping balls in, even with a AP rack with dual heat.
I guess you could try insulate the rack with the really big styrofoam insulating panels you can buy at home depot or lowes. Again though, I'd heat the room.

I have been on their site before. But none of the racks besides the large one for the largest tubs had that lip.
