Laying eggs and no one is home?!

so i am starting to get my feet wet in regards to BP breeding....but i was wondering how big of a deal is it to actually be around when the female lays her eggs? b/c i know you have to try and seperate them and incubate. unfortunately i am not going to be at my house for 16 hours at a time ( i work 2 jobs) and i wanted to know if the eggs would be fine if she would lay them (durring the day) and i wouldnt get a chance to get them out until that night?

It would be more than fine ... I've had females sit on eggs for a few days before I was able to get to them and they always hatch successfully. They're more resilient than most people imagine. You'll do great!

Don't forget that in the wild, the females incubate the eggs themselves. As long as you have proper temps and humidity, letting mom do her job for a little while "should" be ok.

it doesent really matter. as long as the male is not in the cage its fine. but you wouldnt want to be gone for a long time.
