will work as long as you have enough watts for the size of the incubator.

How do you think people heat their incubators? Mine has 3 feet of 11" flexwatt. Controlled by a herpstat ND.
Only reason I use the ND is because it doubles as my breeder stat during the season.

    Re: UTH for incubator????

all i did was took a 12 qt tub and put the UTH on OUTSIDE and then put the t-stat probe inside on surface of substrate so itll reach the 90 i set it at.

This helps insure that the uth will be away form the babies once hatched. i dont put the tub anywhere special. I set on top of my snake rack in snake room at 82 degree air temps. so that's my home made way of incubating eggs.

    and im using HATCHRITE

I also use a piece of glad press and seal on top of the tub then put the lid on to ensure more humidity stays in. ive done this for 6 months for mock ups to ensure itll work and it has.
