tiles ?? good or no good ?

hey everybody in the process of making a cage for my BP and ive seen one or two on this site that have tiles as a substrate ...is that a good idea or would the tiles be too hard, possibly abrasive on the snakes belly ??

Tiles are a bad idea. They are hard on the snake, and the pores in the tile will hold bacteria no matter how well you think you clean them.
