Re: Omg...
It does sound like an RI to me. Probs because his humidity was so high for so long?

Highly doubt it was the humidity, it happens often in the wild that humidity is low 80s for a few days.

Ah k. I've never had an RI come through my collection, so I just know to watch out for the symptoms. The only problem that really jumped at me was his humidity.
Maybs if you elaborate on what exactly the temps were, it could help. Plus, they could've fluctuated with room temperature and you would have no clue about it because you were away.

Re: Omg...
Definately sounds like RI. Get the temps in the low 90's and get him to the vet. Bubbles in the mouth means he's got alot of congestion. The vet should run a culture on the mucous/fluid, find what bacteria has caused the infection and prescibe the correct antibiotic for that specific infection. They can drown and die from the congestion. You need to keep his tub, hides and water bowls quarrantined and isolated, away from any other snakes.

Re: Omg...
Thanx for the help!
Right now or today, I'll check my temps, correct the humidity, and see if the problem is serious because, I have a book on Ball Pythons that shown all the symptoms of RI & my snake doesnt show any of the signs, no mucus, no foam in the mouth, its face is actually dry (normal). The only thing I know is he makes this light whistling noises. I don't know if its hissing or what, actually Lol?
