    Question Madagascar Ground Boa

Anyone know of a caresheet for them? I am new to boas but I have 2 baby BP's and my fiancee has pretty much fell in love with a (not sure if a baby or juvi) MGB at the pet shop we are constantly hanging out at. He is really well tempered and just crawls around flicking his little black tongue. I think pretty much the only reason we have not brought it home is because of the price ($1200), otherwise he would be ours.

So, what info can ya'll point me towards? I have searched here and googled info and came up with little to no information. I have also seen a Dumeril's Boa at the same store, what is the difference between it and the MGB?

    Re: Madagascar Ground Boa

As far as I know, MGB and Dumeril's are extremely similar and follow the same husbandry requirements.

Sorry I can't be more help.

    Re: Madagascar Ground Boa

Dumerils is smaller in general. 4-7 feet. Madagascar ground boa can get up to 10 I think it is.

Dumerils are from a drier part of the island for the most part, while the Madagascar is more in the tropical part.

Try this (mostly about dumerils, but can help):
