Oy, I have to keep explaining. V, the large male, the last owners fed him live mice, and they chewed him up. He's healed up nicely, but I knew he was special the moment I saw him. This is an example of what happens when you feed live, apparently. I only fed live 1.5 times. ( The guy who pre"killed" the 4 left one dying and the other alive. I fed the live one to Valium and the dying to V. It wasn't bad, but apparently mice can get nasty.

WAIT!!! the snake with the REALLY bad wounds, that ISN'T my snake! Just something I found to plaster on forums so that people won't feed live, sorry! That snake did eventually die, but jeez, some serious carnage.

At first I was thinking about that snake but the scarred snake I just wasn't sure if it was a wild caught or rat damage. Welcome to the forum, --Josh

So they are pics that you use to make a point? Even though you do not know the circumstance regarding the feeding incidents that may have caused them? And they are not your pics, and you do not have permission to post them (you do not own the copyright to them)?

Sorry, just a peeve of mine.

Live feeding can be done responsibly and is necessary for some snakes.

Well, by live feeding I mean unattended I do agree that it's necessary for some snakes.
