    Unhappy Ice storm! :(

The ice storm wrecked NW Arkansas. I took alot of pictures but haven't managed to get them on the computer yet. About a mile from my house there are 3 splintered power poles and transformers laying in the road. I'm now on day 9 with no electricty and no water b/c we have a well. The power company thinks they will have everyone up and running again by Feb. 14! This really sucks! After 3 days of being confined to the house we chopped limbs for 4 hours before we could get out of our driveway. We have a fireplace to keep us and the critters warm but I got tired of worrying about the snake and took him to my mother in-laws yesterday. I did have UniHeat packs atleast during the storm. Her husband won't even step foot in our house b/c of the snake so its kinda a big deal for the snake to stay there. The humidity was way to low for him at home and the temperature was all over the place so I feel very releived he is warm now. Im at work now where the power was restored on Sunday. More complaining to come! LOL!
Here are a couple pics and news story.

We don't get alot of bad weather where I live, But when we do its BAD here , Maybe some snow here or there and occasionally some ice storms . They were calling for snow Monday night, I lost alot of sleep waking up and watching outside waiting on it. But what do you know we ended up getting like 1 in. of snow.

I'm glad the weather was a little kinder to you! Hopefully the worst is over!

My parents live in NW Arkansas and I know it has been really bad. I'm glad to hear your snake made it through ok.
