Quarantine period and initial vet visit?

I'm bringing in a crested this weekend. Or two. Or ten.

What is a good quarantine time frame for these guys? And what should I have done for an initial vet visit? Fecal, grams stains, swabs..?

Thanks for any and all help.

    Ha ha, 10.

You should quarantine for 90 days and any geckos from different sources should be QTed from eachother, i.e., if you get 2 geckos at the same show but from different vendors they should be QTed apart from eachother.

For an initial check all you really need to have done is a fecal. Other than that just the usual visual check for clear eyes, clean vent, not too thin, skin not wrinkly or dehydrated looking, etc.

Thank you! I've got their little QT areas all set up and ready to go.
