    Re: What would you choose?

Spiders would be easier and faster to make visuals. The hets would take around three years to make a visual and then it's not certain of that. I've heard of het x het breedings that took 25 eggs before they got a visual.

In terms of the look though, I'd go with albino.

I have to say i'd probably choose the pair of hets, Ive always been a fan of albinos, and i could put them to good use.

    Re: What would you choose?

Yeah I've really been leaning towards the female spider since I already have a pastel and could possibly get some bumblebees that way (down the road a ways, lol) But I love the albinos and although it may take a little longer, it may be worth it in the end.

    Re: What would you choose?

Get the pair, breed them out, and use the money you made to buy a spider. THEN! Breed spider to albino and make spider albinos. Mwahaha!

    Re: What would you choose?

You'd have to have a spider het. albino to make albino spiders. It would take a few generations.

I don't think het. albinos are worth it at this point. The price is dropping so dramatically, by the time your hets were old enough to breed you could pick up an albino for the same price a spider is now. I've already seen good albinos in the $400 range. If you really want an albino, just buy one now or wait a bit and get an '09 hatchling albino. Otherwise, I'd go with the spider.
