lose the hide, or keep it...

I'm relatively new to the breeding thing...

...when I put my male with my female, should I lose the hide box, keep the hide box, or does it wholly depend on the size of the tub and only matter in regards to space considerations?

    Thanks,

I take them out, but that's just me. If I have a small male, around 450g or so, then I may add a a small hide so he can get away from the ginormous female if he needs to

Yeah, well, I'm pairing a wide-stripe male (who is full grown) with a 4000+ gram female, and in this case she has her very own 4 foot cage, but I thought if I remove the hide it would give them nowhere to go but hook up
