    Re: Please helpppp!!!!

Smack her and tell her to "RESPECT MY AUTHORITA!!!!"

And unless she fumigated the BP with it you'll probably be fine, but tell her not to do it again, EVER. Just push that in there that doing that could hurt the snake and not to do it, no matter what.

Oh, and open your windows if it isn't too cold.

Did she spray it right in the tank or just around it? Your likely fine but next time try something more natural like charcoal odour absorbers.

she sprayed around it, but it is the clean linen and it is very strong stuff...she sprayed because we smoke, and she was trying to cover it up..

Charcoal filtering systems are GREAT for clearing smoke up. And yes exposure to carbon monoxide as well as the other chemicals in smoke is as bad for your snake as it is for you.

I'd say your snake will be fine, but you definitely have to smack her.

Yah...my friends kids actually sprayed air freshner in one of my boa cages because her poop stank so bad...She was a little pissed it looked like but survived...I definitely had to educate those little ones on respecting my stuff and animals in general...Funny now, but not then...

Smoking is very dangerous to snakes.
And, if frequent, will probably lead to an RI eventually.

No smoking in the snake room is a good rule you should talk to your mom about. I moved out over a year ago because my mom smokes so heavily that I couldn't stand it, plus I have asthma.
