Arrow Aspen at White Plains Show

I was going to pick up a small bag of aspen to try it out. The small bag was $7 and the larger bag was $13. Then I saw someone selling this huge bag and figured it would be around $50. Turns out it was $20 so I picked one up. I hope it's the same stuff. The bag says:

Aspen Shavings - Kiln Dried Hardwood Bedding

Autoclavable, Laboratory Grade, 100% Virgin Wood Fiber

Volume 9.0 cu ft, compressed to 3.0 cu ft.

    NEPCO, Northeastern Products Corp.
    Warrensburg, NY 12885
    800-873-8233

Does this look like the right stuff for BP's?

Man I would have picked up like 4. But I'm a fan of bulk buying. Good purchase.

Yeah, it seemed like a good deal. For $20, I just took a chance.

I didn't pick up any snakes. My main purpose for going was frozen mice/rats and supplies. I wanted to save shipping costs. I purchased frozen mice from Michael Hano and frozen rats from Komodo Reptiles. We'll see how the snakes like them later in the week.

One odd thing I learned at the show - you can't buy Provent-A-Mite in New York. The company is based in NY and they can ship it anywhere but you can't purchase it in NY. It has something to do with Federal exemptions and permits, etc. Go figure.

It's the COSTCO, Sam's Club effect. Buying in bulk is the way to go!
