    Animal Plastics - A10 *DUW*

Alright, So I've been hunting around for a decent sized arboreal cage for my Dipsadoboa pair. And most arboreal caging was designed with boids in mind, not so much little african colubrids. So, Since I already have some of their racks and terrestrial caging, I decided to try the A10 model for arboreal. Got it shipped on time, arrived today and I just finished setting it up and already, I am totally stoked about it. Pics of the set-up to follow.

    Just out of the box

Had a radiant heat panel drop-shipped from reptile basics, AP installed it.

precision cutting on the edges and cord runs (yep, these are stackable).

    Door panel w key lock

This was my totally bush league QT enclosure for the little beasties

I said it was ghetto, moving on

Sides attached to bottom, vents visible, also my dogs bum in the background

    Top on and installed

heat panel and light in the ceiling

Just finished sealing it, so I'll wait until it dries to move the new owners in

I really dig it, so far. I'll post a few more pics once it dries and I get it furnished...... Oh and dimensions are 2 x 2 x 3.

    Cheers,
    Kat

    Awesome cage, I love AP!

This is the first time I see pics of their arboreal cages, they look great.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

Without the heat panel it was ~$300 shipped (including light, locks, etc). AP offers belly heat on these, as well, but I wanted to go radiant. The heat panel and drop shipping was ~80. I will likely pick up 3 more of these and stack em, now that I have seen the finished product. For my particular application, these are just about perfect.

Base price on this model is $240, then you add in what you want.

I think they look great! Sometimes it costs a bit to get something that is awesome looking, durable and functional but its worth it in the end usually. Congrats on the set-up.

Alright, So I got the new digs half finished (still need to pick up some more fake vinery), and my spunky girl is moved in and testing the place for weakness. She's in shed at the moment, so she'd not as bright as she normally is, but you get the idea..... I'm also going to have to change the light in the cage as the yellow hue is driving me nuts trying to get a decent pic....
