    Longest lived tarantula

When I was 17 (14 years ago) I gave my cousin my female rosehair tarantula for a school project. My uncle just told me today that she hd died in june, when I got her up she was already full grown and I kept her for 2 years so that would put her at a min of 16+ years old. Just wanted to see if others had had tarantulas last that long?

Aww I am sorry for the loss.

No, this is not unheard of. I just saw a post someone made on another forum that their tarantula died at 19 years old. Many can live up to 25 years.

    Re: Longest lived tarantula

The person who introduced me to Ts had an adult female rose hair that he had owned for 18 years and she was a full grown adult when he got her.
