I've heard of some people having issues with all their rules. Personally I just don't like how the site is set up

Kingsnakes TOS is really strict but they seem to enforce it arbitrarily on and don't care who they piss off. In their minds they are the only show in town worth going to and that kind of attitude is exactly what is going to have them lose a LOT of business.

Re: Problems with KS.com
I keep seeing things like this and I have just one question. What is keeping someone from starting up an alternative? I know it would take time to get off the ground, but why not? Beats letting them continue to be 'the only one in town', doesn't it??

I believe Fauna is the alternative... and this site

This site is much better and I've met some people from here at the Birmingham show and they were true animal lovers, not just someone wanting to cash in before the bottom falls out.

Anyway, I like it here better anyway
I combed the smiliey list for the "beating a dead horse" animation.
Everyone is aware of how KS operates. Jeff B. makes money from his site, and folks make money by selling their animals through his site. Period.
If it was my forum, I'd ban you too for posting that kind of hearsay without hard evidence.

Hard evidence? It happened to me buddy. How much evidence do you need? For starters it's not hearsay when it's true. I've only found out about them in the last week. It's not a problem if you make money and love your hoddy at the same time, but if you breed a pastel to a normal and you get three pastels from the clutch and freeze the rest....what does that sound like? Doing it only for money is not the way it should be done. We are talking about live animals here. I hunt anytime I get a chance but I eat whatever I kill. It's the same thing when someone just kills an animal for the rack and doesn't use as much of the animal as he can. Usually when someone gets ill like this it means they are the ones doing it. I'm a breeder, but I love these animals and only if one is born with a bad defect do I ever put it down, and when I do I take it to the vet and spend $25 to have it done the right way. Not just thrown into a freezer. Where do you stand?
