    I want to start breeding.

Alright guys, i have no idea where to even start. I read the faq's and a couple posts but im still clueless. I have a 07 Pastel male (650g) and i have a 07 Normal, not sure of the sex. Well obviously i know i need a female. So once i have a female that is ready to breed where do i start? I just started researching genetics and breeding but maybe someone can put it into layman's terms for me. Bare with me please.

    Okay..

Male Adult + female Adult + time together + fertility = eggs

Eggs + incubator +time + humidity and substrate = Babies

    Babies + food + time = Adults

    And begin the cycle again

    Well, what she said...lol... &...

If you breed a Pastel to a Normal, you should (theoretically) get 50% Pastels, & 50% Normals. So, out of a 6 egg clutch (example), 3 should be Pastels, 3 Normals. Unless you don't plan to breed to a Normal...

Are you going to wait for your Normal (provided it's a female) is the proper weight/age, or are you going to look for female that is ready now?

    It is, kinda...

I think for the time being, you need to take it step by step.

    Get your female first.

    Put her thru quarantine.

THEN in that time, ask more specific questions...

Well first i want to get the normal sexed. If it is a male than Im thinking about another pastel female or a spider but im hoping the normal is a female so i can kinda start from scratch. Correct me if im wrong but pastel x pastel should be 75%pastel 25%super pastel?? and spider x pastel =?? bumblebee?
