OTC stuff to have in your snake room

I was going thru my room last night, and I realized...

    Geez!

I have a grip of bottles and things of things in here!

I have a closet full of SNAKE stuff.

So I went thru and made a list of what I have over the years...

    And here you are:

    Betadine (for disinfecting soaks)

Iodine (same as Betadine, but for some reason I have both)

Mineral Oil (For mites in heat pits... flushes them out real good)

Q-tips (for using with Mineral Oil, or what have you... also good for cleaning)

    Bleach (for disinfecting tubs)

    Chlorhexidine (for cleaning tubs)

Hydrogen Peroxide (for YOU to clean up rat bites on yourself)

Bandaids (for YOU to cover rat bites)

Tongs (I have several pairs for feeding... I always manage to lose one)

Provent a Mite (to treat animals for mites)

Goo-gone (for getting rid of writing on tubs, or removing stickers)

Snake bags (for wrastlin up sum snakeys)

    Papertowels (for cleaning)

Scoopers (for cleaning.. I have like six...)

    Water spritzer (for spritzing)

Gloves in many sizes, shapes, and colors (for you and all the people helping you ... HAH!! SIKE!!! What people helping you???)

Extra tubs of various sizes, shapes and colors (for wrastlin up sum snakeys)

Thats all I can think of for now... Hope this helps.

(If you can think of something else, please feel free to share)

    Good thread Heather!

Have you tried the Magic Eraser sponges? I use them now instead of Goo Gone. It was just too toxic for my liking.

Nail polish remover is cheaper and does the same job

I also have a much smaller version of your "herping equipment" list in a storage bin
