Ditto. Depending on the walmart may be in different places. One was in the hardware section, other time in garden section. Different walmarts.

    Re: Acurite

I"ve seen them at walmart, fred meyer, home depot, lowes, and many places on line.

Just be sure to get the right model for your needs. Most common is the indoor\outdoor version with humidity guage for 10-16 bucks depending on where you get it...

If you own a rack and dont want to deal with the silly probes get the wireless version. I got one that reads indoor/outdoor humifity and indoor/outdoor temps for about 17 bucks. They run on 5 AA batteries (3 for unit 2 for sensor) and the signal is good for about 100 feet, not that you'd need even a 1/4 of that lol. Oh forgot to mention if your sensor dies after years of use or water damage you can replace it for a few bucks on their site. These things rock instead of dealing with cables for checking temps or losing accuracy with temps guns opening and closing racks you can place it inside a tub close it and leave it there for a while giving you as close a read to perfect as possible.

    Got this at Lowes btw.

You could have one of these in each tub and they wouldn't interfere with eachother?
