    refusing...

    just got a leo about 3-4 days ago and i have been offering meal worms everyday but he hasint atein one yet. he licks them sometimes but is a no go. i dont know alot but what could be some reasons hes refusing? thanks guys.

    Since you just got him a few days ago he is still settling in. I would give him at least another week before I would start worrying.

    Also what are your temps? I found that when I kept leos, during the winter I would raise their temps one or two degrees and it would keep them eating.

    It may also depend on what the leo is used to eating. It may be used to eating crickets, and may take a while to take to mealies.
    Remember variety is best, I fed mine everything from crickets to roaches.
