    It's quite a different...

    These are the dimensions for a 20 gal long: 30 x 12½ x 13

    Re: 20 gallon long

    It's more like 40 gal!

Seems a little too big for a 22".

What do you say to getting a small sterilite/iris/rubbermaid tub, until the snake is a bit bigger. This way he won't stress out too much.

You can just put a heat pad under one side with a thermostat until he's big enough for that exo-terra.

Please ask more for info if you need any!!

    Re: 20 gallon long

i think thats 35-40 gal. and i agree that is too big for a little ball, get a 20 gal it will last for quite some time and you wont need a 40 until it reaches about 4foot.

    Re: 20 gallon long

i prefer glass just because this will be my only snake so i don't have to worry about others, cost effiency, or time cuz she'll have it all.

i need front opening doors cuz of my disability and exo-terra seems to be the only one i can find . plus i have a 12x12x12 for my crestie and like their cage setup.

    looking at their size chart:
    PT-2600 30 x 30 x 30 cm 12" x 12" x 12" (WxDxH)
    PT-2602 30 x 30 x 45 cm 12" x 12" x 18" (WxDxH)
    PT-2605 45 x 45 x 45 cm 18" x 18" x 18" (WxDxH)
    PT-2607 45 x 45 x 60 cm 18" x 18" x 24" (WxDxH)
    PT-2610 60 x 45 x 45 cm 24" x 18" x 18" (WxDxH)
    PT-2612 60 x 45 x 60 cm 24" x 18" x 24" (WxDxH)
    PT-2613 90 x 45 x 45 cm 36" x 18" x 18" (WxDxH)
    PT-2614 90 x 45 x 60 cm 34" x 18" x 24" (WxDxH)

would the bold one be closes to a 20?

    How about Animal Plastics?

They make PVC cages with sliding front doors.

Otherwise just go with a smaller glass tank.
