    Sigh...not eating

I've searched a lot of threads about our BPs not eating during the winter, but I need a little reassurance.

My BP is about one year old now, had his since January of '08. As of November he was around 700g, ate one big meal about every 7-10 days. He's never refused a meal, ever. But the last time he ate was November 13 and I'm starting to get worried. I continue to offer once a week, he knows the rat is in there, but is not interested at all.

Warm side 89-90F cool side 80F. Ambient 75-78F Humidity 50%

No significant behavior change, drinking, active when I take him out, not so much in his tank.

Is it just that time when aliens take over our snake's brains?

He may be off feed because of the season.. This time of year some snakes will go off feed.. I have a male that isn't eating right now.. He's about the same size as yours.. He's breeding right now and won't take a meal no matter how I introduce it.. But as long as he's not losing significant weight I'm ok with it.. I mean I don't like it but it's going to happen.. Just keep offering every 10 days or so and when it's time he'll take the prey item.. Good luck with him..
