    My first Carpet!

    This little guy is as sweet as can be. I've been wanting one for a long time.....i'm sure this will be the first of many Just snapped a few pics before putting him in his setup to acclimate for a few days.

    Local guy....friend of a friend. I was told IJ, but i'm not entirely sure. I wish I knew more about Carpets, but i'm jumpin in head first. I have their basic care down, but I can't tell you localities and stuff yet. I don't usually get into a new snake without knowing my stuff, but he was super mellow and I didn't want to give him back

    Locality in carpets is not much of an issue in the States. IJ's occur on the Irian Jaya island and all the rest of the carpets occur on mainland Oz.
