    Bumps on mice?????

I picked up 2 brown mice I finally found at a small pet shop, to add to my 30 white mice I have now, its been a few days and I took a good look at them, there young looking about 5 weeks old, I have them by themsleves and I just seen 3 bumps with no fur around them next to the males testies and the female has a small bump on her back with hair disappearing around it.

Its grossing me out, I dont even want to pick the mice up now, or doubting even feeding them to my precious snakes. The bumps look like there herpes!!
Has anyone seen, heard or had this issue before?????

    Re: Bumps on mice?????

I could not tell you for sure, but it could be a huge number of things. try a treatment that covers things like fleas ticks and mites. it could always be tumors.
i recomend looking for more rodents as pets forums, they may know....just don't mention the mice could be snake chow.

or could be bites...i just remembered, i had this male group of mice once and one kept getting bumps like that, when i got a real good look he had bites on him (from the other mice)
