    Do they "mark their territory?"

Just curious because I've been noticing lately that whenever I clean their cages, both ball pythons will pee again, usually by the next day. If I keep cleaning and cleaning they start to pee less and less (presumably because they're running on empty -lol-) But it's just made me wonder if they like to have their own smell. I've recently found that when I just scrub the cage and maybe don't scrub the plants or whatever, that some of the smell will linger slightly, and they are less likely to pee again.

I think we should all perform experiments.

lol I have noticed this also, every single time I clean. I clean their tubs weekly on sundays, and everytime I scrub their tubs and put them back in, they piss, lmao. Im not sure realy why but I am guessing that they feel more comfortable, with their own scent and not some foriegn scent that they are unfamiliar with.
