It is short of the recommended min size for an adult royal, so would this tank be too small for an adult ball?

As I'm new to herp keeping I have yet to set up a full sized viv as I have juveniles. Some people tell me to go wooden, some say glass will hold the humidity better, Im a bit confused. Whats the best way to heat a 3ft wooden viv for a ball. I put a small deposit to hold the glass one, as its end of line stock, and a lot cheaper than the glass Exo Terra's, but if you guys say its not suitable i won't get it
